Those Medford People really didn’t know what they were letting themselves in for. Great Greg, my host delivered me to the Rogue Gallery where I was feted by Jules the executive Director. A fantastic tour of the community based nonprofit facility really opened my eyes to the possibilities of community involvement – watch out Bim I’ve got some great ideas from these people!
Off to Medford Rogue presentation – our biggest yet, and we got a standing ovation. Shout outs to President Kingsley Kelley for being so entertaining. We really left that place on a high.
Then Greg and Eric took us to Jefferson where we checked out the cemetery, had our pics taken and ended up eating ice cream in the sunny weather. I am now in love – with a tree called the Manzinita, with a smooth rich burgundy bark that must be a dream to carve.
Well this day was closed off by everyone returning for a gourmet's delight of a three course meal at my hosts Greg and Allison. We had the most fun at out table -really. Not hurt by the fact that we had the lovely Diane and her jester of a husband Kingsley. I did my Bajan culture ting by serving sweet cake, guava cheese and tamarind balls as aperatif. They all had to man up for the tamarind - but they seemed to like it!
